EMAIL GUIDELINES
PROBLEM
After identifying issues with our current emails, I worked with another designer to sketch out how we could improve email designs, reduce resource time and optimise content to make us market leaders in CRM.
SOLUTION
We discussed changes with the CRM team and the wider business. Our first task was to identify our email subject areas and create relevant and diverse templates for them. The Photoshop templates were highly organised and designed to be mobile optimised. We also created a set of design elements for the designers to access to piece together emails.
Whilst creating the templates, we wrote detailed guidelines to explain when and how to use the templates along with finished examples using suggested hierarchy, imagery and tone of voice.
RESULTS
The templates have significantly cut down design time and resulted in consistently and high quality, engaging CRM.
